might she get prettier as she enters her thirties like hocchan or nana though?

Nana and Hocchan still look the same to me now as they did 10-15 years ago though, albeit with different styling and heavier make-up to cover up their wrinkles, crow's feet etc. Particularly Hocchan. So yeah, people just find different ways to compensate for age, even if it means a shot of Botox....

which year was the peak of tomatsu's beauty, or is that yet to come?

She is as beautiful today as she was yesterday and as she will be in years to come.

Do you see a bit of your own personality in Zucchi?

.......no? Or rather, I wouldn't know? Who I am in real life is nothing like what I am on the internets anyway, so you can assume the same for seiyuu and their public/private personas.

In the history of Japanese voice acting, what are the performances objectively worse than Denpa Kyoushi's Suzune?

99.5% of Ghibli movie actors.

What's your favorite counting-sheep recording by a seiyuu?

Uh what. I don't remember any of those, only the 妄想ボイス series..

Were your trips to Thailand inspired by 'The Beach'?

Well, I didn't even go to a single beach in Thailand so....

Is Shimoseka already your Anime of the Season?

Nah. Shimoseka is great for memes & lowest common denominator lols but objectively speaking, I enjoy watching shows like Akagami no Shirayukihime and Gakkou Gurashi more.

Your thought on...durian?

I don't eat it because it's 'heaty'...? I eat durian ice-cream though. The smell is irrelevant, there are worse smelling fruits here like tarap, cempedak or bambangan...

Do seiyuu gain extra income from foreign licensing of anime?

For any given work, seiyuu/singer contracts usually stipulate whether the usage of their voices is permitted outside of Japan. An additional licensing fee would normally have to be paid to the agencies/actors to allow the Japanese audio track(s) to be used but sometimes, the JP side just won't play ball - you can look up Funi's Kodocha Season 1 woes over TOKIO/Johnny's for an example.

Your top 5 strongest seiyuu debut roles?

Uhhh I hope you're discounting mob roles which pretty much every seiyuu does before their first leading role unless they won some audition or they're being gori'ed.
5 favourite first lead roles
1. Enomoto Atsuko // Karekano
2. Fujimura Ayumi // Asatte no Houkou
3. Irino Miyu // Spirited Away
4. Kawasumi Ayako // Outlaw Star
5. Kuwashima Houko // Nadesico
special mention for Hara Suzuko in Barakamon...
That's off the top of my head anyway.

Near the beginning of your K-pop journey, you went to a Tomatsu concert and wrote you felt that was the last live of her you shall attend. Does that feeling still hold?

Yes, cos I'm officially retired from eventing. Never going to plan any more trips to Japan specifically to attend lives...having said that, I did go to Tomatsu's radio event last year...I just happened to be in Tokyo, and tickets were still available days before.

Between Ainama and Mocho, whose mentality do you find to be more interesting?

Ainama wins by default because I know nothing about Mocho.

But you are the James Joyce of seiyuu blogging! (and that Ohtsuka-inspired post was your Ulysses)

What the ????? I doubt many share your sentiment of wanting to read the rantings of a bitter old idol-hating fart...
Anyway, I only write on my own terms since I hate deadlines, responsibilities & restrictions. I also have zero interest in publicity or e-penor enlarging or monetary gain or whatever reason it is people write for 'famous' sites. I'm sure there are other seiyuu bloggers more suited for MAL like er...Hashihime? Or any of the kuso-DDs who are actually passionate about current-gen seiyuu...

What's the major reason that a seiyuu (usually female) hides her birth year? The illusion of agelessness?

What's the reason you should never ask a lady how old she is?

Would you like to marry Marina-jou in Amurica? #RabuWins

Marriage isn't my thing, I can barely put up with my own habits - let alone somebody else's.
...so can I have like, a one-night stand instead?
