My relationship is over and I am moving soon. I am excited and relieved. I feel no sadness. Neither does she, though she would tell you different to get sympathy and to paint me out to be a bad person. Maybe I am. I can’t say, I just know I tried really hard to make it work and never felt like an equal or like I was ever wanted. So I am onto better things.

Things being my career and home life, not people. I was happy being single before she convinced me to move states to be with her, and I am happy to go back to that lifestyle. Just me, my son, our dog, and our books. So many new books.
