ask me about Islam

My family is in the Nur Movement, therefore they read the books of Said Nursi. Many muslim kurdish scholars advise people to read his book and everybody know him in Turkey. What do you think about him?

We advise Muslims, if they really want to be Muslims as Allah (God) commanded
That they should follow the Holy Qur'an and the Prophetic Method (Sunnah)
because Allah sent His messenger to be the perfect example for people
.
Allah has said : (There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.) - [33:21]
.
But following other figures and persons -as in Sufism-
and making pledges of loyalty, allegiance, enmity and disavowal according to them, then this is of the impermissible innovation in religion (heresy, Bid'a) , even if these characters were righteous
.
And I have seen some of Noursi's speech that indicates his extreme Sufism -unfortunately- .. Like attributing knowledge of the unseen to [who they assume] holy people "Wali Saleh", and so on..
And perhaps many people don't know that about him, especially that he titled his speech by saying : "Indeed, what is written here shouldn't be seen by anyone, and then it must be hidden from others" !
In the paragraph called the 18th Shine from the 21st of his letters
.
And there is no doubt that the belief that there's on the heavens or the earth who knows the unseen except Allah, is a blasphemous belief
Allah Almighty says : (Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.") - [27:65]
and He says to His prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him- : (Say, "I hold not for myself [the power of] benefit or harm, except what Allah has willed. And if I knew the unseen, I could have acquired much wealth, and no harm would have touched me. I am not except a warner and a bringer of good tidings to a people who believe.") - [7:188]
.
If Allah has denied that His messenger knows the unseen, while he is the master of chlidren of Adam, then by stronger reason, others don't know the unseen
.
Noursi had other great mistakes, but that was just an example.. And surely he also had merits, but the problem is that the errors he made in belief were of the massive kind
.
In Islam, we don't have secrets and defects to be hidden.. Our religion is clear, compliant for understanding and remembrance, this is another characteristic that's peculiar to this great religion
.
We are not to judge Noursi, maybe he repented before he died..
But what we are to say is that the meaning of the word Muslim is genuinely following the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah, and seeking accurate understanding of proofs and guidelines
.
We Learn from scholars, but as Imam Maalik said :
"From All people we can accept or reject, except the Messenger of Allah, Mohammad -peace be upon him- ." means : except for the messenger of Allah, only from him among people we accept everything reliably

if yes that means that allah had the intention to make him & his wife come down to earth before creation them God made Satan the reason for their descending ? is it right ?

the more accurate translation is approximately as follows:
Behold, thy Lord when said to the angels: 'I am placing on the earth a caliph (i.e:successor),' they replied: 'Will You put there who corrupts and sheds blood, when we exalt Your praises and sanctify You?' He said: 'I know what you do not know.'
As for what you said
God Almighty ruled that he would make Adam and his descendants succeed one another in the earth
But by His wisdom He made their time for being out of paradise timed according to what he knows from the sin of Adam and his wife, to teach human that his real home is the paradise, and that the only way to return back to his homeland is to obey the messengers of Allah Almighty

Some of main Evidences : Why Islam is the true religion ?

Islam_Answer’s Profile Photoask me about Islam
- preserved in its original sources, not corrupted like other religions
- Internal consistency, no contradiction (although the Qur'an covers all fields of life), and in the Qur'an Allah Almighty said (Do they not then consider the Qur'ân carefully? Had it been from other than Allâh, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction .)
- Comprehensive & Holistic religion which includes all aspects of life
- When Islam revelation speaks in scientific facts, outputs of modern science agree, and this clearly shows that it is from God
- regarding the biography of the Prophet Muhammad[peace be upon him], who reads it fairly, knows that it is impossible to be a non-prophet
- Future prophecies mentioned in the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, occurred as told, and still fall (many examples can be introduced)
- Religion with unique characteristics showing that it is from divine origin, such as balance , clarity, ease of understanding, etc
- concept of God in it:is consistent with the sound mind, and does not lower or decrease the the rank of God as in other religions
- Islam's talk about the prophets, is in harmony with their job that God sent them for, so they are great models and humans at the same time, not as in the books of Jews and Christians insult them or raise some of them to divin level !
- - Even the scripture of Jews and Christians - despite of the corruption in their resources -, there are still clear signs indicating the attributes of the last prophet
The only person who has these qualities is Muhammad,
peace be upon him, and that was the reason for many priests to become Muslims

Asc, I am a Muslim girl, who want to get closer to Allah. I just don't know what to do. I pray, read the Quran and make Duaa, but I just don't feel like, I am so close to Allah swt. Can you please help me?

Firstly, the noble Quran and the Sunnah are a way of life, and they have answers to your question
We advise you to read valuable books, like the books of "Islam House" on internet, they have many books
There's a good book titled "RYADUSSALIHEEN" and in Arabic "رياض الصالحين" get a translated version, because it contains some of the most important prophetic Hadiths
When you read the Quran and Hadith, try to act according to its content as much as you can,
and any Hadith or Aayah you come across, ask about the meaning of them
Also, watch recorded lectures of Bilal Philips, he's good
In addition to the above : You can worship Allah by everything that can be in the interest people, such as alms for the poor, kindness to the parents, good morals, calling to Allah, even removing harmful objects from the road is a type of worship for Allah.

Inshallah you still use this account.I am not Muslim, but I will be soon. I wanted to buy my first real paper Quran (I use an app to read) but my friend told me it's haram to touch Quran without hijab, so I can't buy it. I am devastated and heartbroken... is this true?...

We are sorry for the late reply. However, we have great pride in people like yourself, those who recognize the truth and choose to comply to it, some people know what is true but turn their backs to it! But seeking truth, not whims, is a quality of wise minds.
Thank Allaah -praise be to He- and ask Him to show you the right path and firm your heart on it, continuously.
We congratulate you for your intention of accepting Islaam, but do not say "I will be soon", but right now, at this very moment, hasten to be.
As for the claim that reading without Hijaab is impremissible, this is not true.
I want you to keep in touch with us so that we can provide you with books, videos and generally, clarifying Islaam.
The reason why I asked you to do so is that there are a lot of people who do wrong to Islaam by speaking of it with ignorance, lack of knowledge, and misleading.
So, beware of this, and of asking random people about Islaam, for that it is a structured, methodological knowledge, there are experts to whom one can refer. Just as if one is ill, they will not go ask random peoole, but experts, which -in this case- is a doctor, whom is also known for being trustworthy, and knowledgeable of his feild.
And as for reading the noble Qur'aan, we are not sure of the quality of its translation, but we want it to be known to you that the translation is not identical to Qur'aan, it is just an approach to (an attempt to convey what is close to) its meanings made by the translator, because the Arabic language is very rich and -like any other language- cannot be actually translated into another language letter by letter, just a delivery of meanings.
Reading in Arabic is the actual, real reading of Qur'aan. Translations are written by translators and not but Allaah, trying to make the speech of Allaah closer to non-Arabic speakers, as if they were reading from a commentary book, or an explanation of it.
Lastly, if you had anything that we could contact you by, like an e-mail, or anything like it, and you wanted to ask more questions, we will be more than happy to help you out.

Suggest me good books to read please

Gladly
But are you muslim or not?
to know any kind of books I'll suggest you.

As-Salamu Alaikum please answer my question below please. JazakAllah Khair https://justpaste.it/13cxq

Welcome to you.. I hope that you are in the best of states and I deeply wish that Allaah helps you to presist patient and hold tight your faith..
Allaah says that which means: (Be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous )
Try to show your mom and share with her the things that show the truth of Islam and its beauty and its proofs
And as for the relationships she has witu men outside marriage, you can advise her kindly and tinderly
It isn't okay, and isn't permissible to compromise out of courtesy when it comes to falsehood
But not compromising to her does NOT mean going violent with her
Allaah says that which means: (If they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness)
And stick to this instruction with any kind of falsehood
Be nice to her, and have mercy on her, and then, if you absolutely couldn't do that then you may move out and keep praying truthfully at the late night and ask Allaah to keep you firm and to guide your mother
And if you could send her some Muslim women to talk to her about Islam, it would be good.. Try to let her hear beautiful recitations of Qur'an indirecrly, do not necessarily tell her to actually listen.. You play a recitation reasonably audible and that's it.. At late night for example, when she isn't busy and her mind is clear and it is quiet and tranquil
And if it was possible, make her listen to this clip:

Asc, I am a young teen who is suffering from bad history I've done things that I true regret And i ask allah all mighty to forgive everyday I'm just worried I might go back to my ways is there ways I can stop myself

Welcome to you, and thank you for your question, I am glad at what I read from you, congrats for returning to Allaah.. Feeling cringed and sad about bad deeds indicates a good condition of your heart, hopefully.. Many people are dipped in sins but their conscience is too dim to remind them
But don't despairs of mercy and relief of Allaah, for that He is pleased with Muslim's repentance
Allaah says:
(O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.)
And His prophet, Muhammad -peace be upon him- says:
"Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rabb (Lord)'.He commits this mistake out of extreme joy"
And to keep guarded your repentance, do not come near or approach the things that will eventually lead you to the sin itself, everything that makes it easier for you to commit the sin, try to not come near it
The same goes for the steps of shaytaan (satan) because won't directly whisper evil to the Muslim, but he will take graduate steps
Be known to you, sister, repentance erases what has passed of .. It would even turn into favors if your repentance was really true
I invite you and encourage you to seek forgiveness from Allaah, give charity and ask Allaah to strengthen you and guide to the right path
