I am deeply in love with my student. Don't judge me. She has only been in my class last year and my feeling for her keep growing and I think she also knows that I love her. It gets worst everyday, she's all I think from day 'till night. What do I do?

Awh! First of all, I would like to tell everyone, I AM NO LOVE GURU. hehehe.
As far as I know, student-prof relationship is a big no-no. Pero, if you think that she is the one, why not take chances?

Why did you prefer to study in iit rather than to another universities ?

Actually, my 1st choice was to study interior design at UP Diliman. Then, my father died two months before my HS graduation. That time, my family was financially broke. We couldn't afford the tuition + projects + living expenses.
So, the next choice was MSU to take a business course. I've been eyeing IIT since my HS. Poof, I ended there. ^___^ It was a great choice.
Tho I am frustrated with the course that I wanna take, it was all worth it to study at IIT. ^___^

What is your opinion about same gender relationships?

May I please ask what kind of relationship? There are variety of relationships ranging from your relationship with friends, family, and other people. Basically, I and my best friends have the *same gender relationship* that is friendship.
But, in this case, I will assume that you are talking about the *in* thing right now for most of the people in the so-called modernized society. In Islam, homosexuality alone is prohibited, what more if there emerge a *relationship (as you call it)* among those people?
Plus, it will serve no purpose at all. The purpose of being in a relationship is ending up in marriage (for most people, i guess. while others get married first before they enter into such relationship). Marriage has the purpose of continuing the generation. If people engage in same gender relationship, how would there be a future generation? And please, don't start with me regarding test tube babies, etc.
Inasmuch as I want to be liberal, I could hardly grasp the idea of same gender relationship (what more marriage?). I think, you just need a bestfriend. ;)

Hi sis, please help me, i keep on messing with my Imaan, one day i stop doing some haram/sins and then the next day i keep on doing it again, worst is.. it become an addiction. Please help me. :(

Salam sis. To err is human. We are all prone to sinning. The Mercy of Allah SWT is so big, we just have to chase it. However, when we constantly make it a cycle by doing our sins over and over again, we need to do a lifestyle check. Are we in good company? Are we focusing on being better than we are yesterday? Are we even sincere in our repentance?
There are a lot of questions to ask ourselves. And we need to be true in our answers. Only then we can do a lifestyle turnaround. Only then we can finally let go of our the sins that have consumed our being.
I am a sinner, too. And this is one of my problems, too. It is a very difficult battle. Because we need to let go of the things that we thought are dear to us to the extent that we may need to look for company who will be our guiding light.
Here is a beautiful answer from my favorite, Mufti Menk of Zimbabwe.
