Anime Question of the Day! Hurrah! School's out! At least, for most Japanese high school students, the academic year is over. There's a brief vacation, so it's time to have some fun! How about we take a trip? Pick one location in Japan you'd like to sightseeing.
Mt.Fuji maybe? I unno. I like to pretend I like Japan, but really I haven't actually researched any of its cool attractions.
Anime Question of the Day! April 6th was the day the Pioneer 11 probe was launched. Exploration of space has fascinated humankind for decades. Try this question: can you name a space anime that is NOT a mecha anime?

Anime Question of the Day! What day is April 4th? Some say that it´s the Day of Happiness (shiawase). Why? Because as 4="shi" and "awaseru"=concatenate. Thus, 4+4=shi-awase-(ru) (happiness)! Gosh, word puns are hard in Japanese! Talk about an anime that uses and abuses Japanese language puns.
I am bad with Japanese puns, so I forget such shows very often. Maybe Hayate, but I can't remember if it has many puns or not.

I can't give an answer for best OST I am afraid. I don't feel qualified and I can't remember the soundtracks present last season. Maybe GBF Try, though Yona and World Break also had some good music.

You know those Japanese cartoons me and my brother watch? Yeah, some of the characters in them are cute or some of the things they do can be thought of as being cute. For one reason or another, they are often called moe. It is not exactly the same as the word "cute", but maybe more like a specific type of it? I dunno, if you watched a few shows with me, you'd come to understand.
Anime Question of the Day! No school vacation is complete without video games! Talk about some video, computer, or handheld games that have been adapted into anime. Are there any good ones? What about the other way around? Do you know some good video games that have been adapted from anime?
Bahamut and Pokemon are probably good examples of games turned into anime. I actually liked what I saw of the Persona 4 adaptation and I have enjoyed the Persona 3 movies (the second one is actually good).

I don't know what my top 5 actually are, but for now, let us assume the following:

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Steins;Gate
Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (this will make things more interesting. :P )
In anime personalities:
Hyouka - Laid back, calm, reliable and just nice to be near.
GBF - Endearing, loud but not annoyingly so, would be the main character. Often gets advice from Hyouka-kun.
TTGL - Really, really loud. Yells so much you get annoyed at them, but then you get used to it and starting liking them. Then you see the friendship TTGL-kun has for GBF-kun and it brings you to tears when TTGL sacrifices himself for GBF-kun.
Steins;Gate - The weirdo from the class next door, but beneath her weird exterior lies a shy individual who is scared of rejection and loneliness. Likes hanging around GBF-kun's gang, or to be more exact, likes hanging around Hyouka-kun.
Damaou - The perverted villain with seemingly unstoppable power.
Plot: Damaou tries her best to make GBF-kun strip and reveal his shiny gunpla joints, but when her plan fails, she resorts to summoning the devil's forbidden power and launches a beam of doom at GBF-kun. TTGL-kun steps in and takes the blow for his friend and falls to the ground: defeated, but not forgotten. An angry GBF-kun then activates the RG system and sends Damaou flying with the Build Knuckle.
And while all of this is happening, SG;chan is desperately trying to win over Hyouka-kun. Hyouka-kun is smart enough to notice SG's attempts, but figures that a relationship requires too much energy, so he just ignores her clumsy attempts at romance.
Several doujins featuring Damaou-chan in little clothing and a budding relationship between GBF-kun and TTGL-kun are created shortly after. A few official art books, that don't go as far as the doujin but still go somewhere close, are released as well.

I once wrote out 3 fake love letters with the intention of giving them to my friends. Unfortunately, I totally failed to deliver one letter and another was immediately found out to be the prank that it was. The remaining letter actually succeeded for a few minutes before my friend realized that there was no way a girl would have handwriting as messy as the one used in that letter. :/
Can't think of anything else that I have done, probably a bit of light trolling here and there...

Anime Question of the Day! The AnimeJapan 2015, one of the largest corporate anime trade fairs in the world, is happening this weekend in Tokyo. Have you ever been to an anime convention? Talk about your experience. Which programs and events did you go to? What did you enjoy the most?
The only convention I have been to is Anime North and I have been to it several times.
I have had a fair bit of fun just taking photos of cosplayers, buying overpriced merchandise and some nice art and meeting up with anitwitter friends.
I have been to a few panels, but not all that many. I generally try to go get the signature from the voice actress who is visiting (if only cause everyone else is doing it, haha).
