I try to reach out to someone, call a friend...a feature of my BPD is that I don't do lonely/alone well for very long.

I go to a restaurant, that I go on occasion to, that has a nice atmosphere and music and take my laptop with me for a distraction from my loneliness. It helps me.

Well when people see my sadness they try to let me escape in doing something else.
