Do you that if Sentai Filmworks want to air one of their shows in Toonami, do you think Toonami may pressure Sentai Filmworks to fly L.A. voice actors in their in-house dubs?

I don't know if Sentai wants to air their shows on Toonami. :( I just read the lines in a padded box and go home.
I'm also not sure why they would be pressured to fly in LA talent. The talent pool in Texas is pretty gigantic, so they usually keep it in-state.

How would you describe your voice?

Um...annoying?
In all seriousness, hating the sound of my own voice has been one of the largest barriers to my development as an actress. I would say I have a fairly mid-high voice when speaking naturally, but I thankfully have a range that allows me to go lower or very high. Being from the midwest, I also have a slightly nasal pronounciation which gives my voice a little uniqueness to it.

How would you change the mind set of a fan that doesn't feel Sentai's dubs are worth watching?

It depends. While I don't think anyone could write off all of Sentai's dubs by watching one they don't like, I'm not one to shove something down somebody's throat.
Honestly, you asked what would I say to a FAN? If you're an anime fan period, you've already made me a happy girl. If Sentai licenses a show and you buy that DVD, you can watch it subbed all you like, just as someone who prefers dubs (or needs to listen to dubs due to a learning disability or visual impairment, like in many cases), can watch it dubbed all they like. The fact that you bought that media to watch in whatever way you choose means that you are supporting the anime industry so they can make more anime as you enjoy it, and we can keep working to localize anime so others can watch it as they enjoy. The nuances in the dub can be different from the source material, but in the end we all fall in love with the same stories, the same characters. And I think that would still give someone who has seen it subbed and someone who has seen it dubbed plenty to talk about. :)
All I ask is that your hatred of a dub does not turn into a hatred for me personally. XD I understand that no matter what show I am in, I am working on at least one person's favorite show in the world and I want to give them a performance worthy of that honor. So I tried real hard. Promise.

Breaking into the acting, what is a type of role you would really like to try portraying?

That is a really excellent question. I would definitely like to try portraying a villian some day, because I think that the coldness and lack of empathy required to do so is so different than how I normally act, it would be quite the challenge. I would assume that my biggest obstacle would be sounding unconcerned without providing a flat delivery. I am very lucky that the projects I am currently involved in have required me to play many different types of characters, so I'm definitely discovering and improving on my range. I think once I have a better take on what directors view as my strengths, I can more comfortably decide what types of roles I think I would excel in that I haven't done yet.

What about the Lord of the Rings films?

Seen 'em all, read the books, loved them. My best friend's birthday part was LOTR themed including a marathon of the extended editions. Took two days. XD

Oh you've seen Elfen Lied. What did you think of its dub? Alot of Veterans got their start on that show.

I liked it! I bought the DVD slim boxset at Anime Central 2008 and watched it subbed first, but watched it dubbed while I was sewing or doing homework. I thought it was a pretty good dub, but as a 16 year old, I wasn't very hard to please.

If you were a boy, what would your name be? What do you think you would look like? And and what kind of girls (or guys) would you go after?

I would probably be named after my father, so Victor. And I would probably be gay, because gentlemen are lovely.

Do you like The Last Unicorn or Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland?

Yes and yes. Another great Christopher Lee role. I had a unicorn phase when I was 5 and my mom got the Last Unicorn for me and I watched it like every night. I named my shiny Rapidash in Pokemon X Amalthea. XD Little Nemo was good, but the black goop scared me and I always got so mad when the clown said Nemo had the key and everyone got mad at him, so I watched it less. Did you ever play the Little Nemo NES game? It was fantastic.
Also, if you liked Last Unicorn, Wendy Moten, who sang Whatever You Imagine from the Pagemaster (another AMAZING movie) does a great cover of the title song. Not quiiiite America level, but very very good.
