The original replay was a great yoyo. Maybe too great. If it was $50 it would have only got in hands of players who knew how to treat it and treated it with a bit more respect. There is a trade off between durability and performance. We loaded up on performance. In the market it would have failed. It would have been over tightened, broken and just not taken the abuse people who buy $10 yoyos dish out.

What do you guys do with all the reject/b-grade yoyos? Would you guys ever consider having a section on your website to sell only b-grade?

Our experience leads us to only sell them in person. Any time we do sell online we typically regret it.

Because we only had a limited amount of gold ct bearings. It also is not uncommon to reward earlier contributors more.
