no you're not being stupid at all, don't think like that. he's you're dad, he was with you through you're life, no matter what, you're going to miss him like crazy. you just need to think how he's not suffering anymore. i'm sure he was a great man! it'll get better x

advice to a self harmer?
honestly, if you have only just started, stop now... if you feel like you're going through a bad stage in life, get a piece of paper, write down good things about you/you're life and then write down bad things, then compare. if you still don't feel better, tell someone asap, if you've been doing it a while, stop, it's not going to help in later life. try speaking to somone about the problems which are causing you do self harm.
