How do you manage overwhelming anxiety?

You've just gotta start being a bit "strategically wreckless" and going all in on some decisions you make. Start off small with a joke you want to tell your friends that you might not think they'll laugh at or ask a stranger how their day is going. Once the words start to linger in your head, cut off your thoughts and just go for it. These small things are usually pretty common things that usually go well, and with these small steps, you'll build the confidence you need to push back that anxiety. Maybe not entirely, but you'll definitely be better. I know its definitely helped me out and I was always the quiet kid in class from my elementary, to early high school years. By my junior year, while I wasn't popular, I could hold a conversation with just about anyone. A few years later and I work as a cashier that usually leaves a smile on almost every one of my customers' faces as they grab their food or leave, have (hopefully) good relationships with 90% of my coworkers, and the confidence to make the first move on a cute girl that I might want to try dating. Baby steps are key to improvement.

How do you manage overwhelming anxiety
Not well ?
But in all seriousness, I have anxiety medication prescribed to me. Other than that, I just try to manage it whenever it comes on by focusing on other things and trying to pull myself out of it. I know that doesn't really help much, but I don't really have anything that does help :/
