Well, we already do that. You just need to a) have a valid email address on your account, and b) turn on email notifications in Settings > Privacy.

Nope, it doesn't work that way around.
When I follow someone, I know they don't know how followed them, but do they get a notification saying someone followed them?
No, the only way to tell you have another follower is by seeing your follower count increase.

I've set up an anonymous confessions twitter for my school, but a lot of people don't have ask.fm accounts... is there a way for them to send me a confession without needing an account?
Sadly there is no way. We are now requiring login to submit questions, mainly for safety reasons.
This app has made me really popular in school and people think I'm funny, thank you ask.fm!

Impersonating other people like celebrities is against our rules, and we remove those kind of profiles if/when they are reported!

You can delete the individual notifications on the full website. Just click on "View All Answers" in the notifications drop-down, you can then delete each answered question notification. You can't do this currently on the app, only on the website.

Only one Ask account can be connected to a Twitter account. If you reactivate the old account and remove the connection to Twitter, then you can connect it to your new account.
