Do you think it is correct weapon "dropping" behavoir that I havent had a single blue or purple weapon drop in high lvl areas since I activated the 25% boost 3 days ago?

The 25% boost is a boost on a very small number. So there's a chance that you're not going to get the quality you're after.
It's not a case of "I should get a unique for every 4 missions I do, because 25%" it's not that at all.

Excuse me, Chris, yesterday I bought a key in TLS:DZ, via BCP (a local bank here, in Perú). And it supposed that i'll receive the key, today at this hour, but I don't get any key. What should I do?

Contact us at support@deadzonegame.com with your User ID and more details, we'll get it sorted out for you.

Was the "2nd Amendment" purposely designed to be used way beyond level 20 to 25-ish range?

Yeah, it was something I was experimenting with. Probably not something I'll do again though.

We've talked about a second level inventory upgrade. Had a lot of people asking for it, we might have to revisit it.

Do you like Waterflame?

I wasn't aware of Waterflame until you asked, but I did like the music in Castle Crashers from memory!

Today something very weird happened on dz a vintage rare appeared on tick here a screenshot from a player who screeshoted it.Are vintages back or what does this mean screenshot : imgur.com/nnrqfWq

They're not "back". My guess is that it's someone logging in again after a long time away and getting a mission report from before the change was made. The item would have been added when their mission completed and the notification added to the broadcaster.

Would you consider creating another MMO like DZ? Maybe with the Warfare or Sin Mark series?

Yes. Also, Sin Mark, really? :D

I always wondered - what is your opinion about Unity web player?

Unity is great. Pretty much everyone in here has been playing around with it for quite a while now.
Being able to push your game to PC, Mac, Mobile and Web is a very awesome thing. The web player is a bit of a weird one though. Not a lot of portals are supporting it, the install is still kind of clunky compared to Flash.
I wouldn't design anything specifically for the Unity web player, if anything I'd maybe release a demo with it, but it'd have to be fairly hamstrung from the PC version, which takes time to do.

I now you're always looking for an idea to avoid "full LRs" raids, it makes me mad too. LRs have good range, damage, and suppression... What if their suppression was lowered ? LRs would become support weapons, like IRL, and people would have to use weapons with higher suppression. Good or bad idea ?

I tried that in testing a while ago, mostly from the defensive perspective. With the layouts and weapon compositions people were using it was largely ineffective without dropping the suppression to basically zero.
Largely it's due to the fact that suppression decays with weapon range. Given the long range of those weapons it takes a lot longer for that suppression to decay.
My guess is that reducing it for offensive purposes, it'd make them more effective. More shots to force an enemy to duck, more chances to hit them standing.

Can I make a short movie about The Last Stand?

Sure, there's a few things I'd need to go over with you first. Email at info@conartistgames.com

I can't believe you'd describe the scouting shroud loading screen with part of the paper bag ghost description ;) do you do LAN parties, and if so what games apart from Diablo do you play?

I was kind of in-between the LAN party thing growing up. I also grew up in a rural town, so there wasn't a lot of people who had computers. Next best thing was playing with friends over the net. My friends and I all had 56k dial up modems by about 14, so we spent a fair bit of time playing Red Alert maps I'd created :)

Will there more events in TLS:DZ in the future?

Events? Sure. Halloween and Z-Mas are just around the corner. This is peak event time!

Might sound like a bit of a noob question here but are you a fan of the Resident Evil series? If so which is your favourite?

I'm actually not huge a fan. I struggle with a lot of Japanese games, mostly due to the way the UI's are designed and fairly consistent requirement to make giant suspensions of disbelief.
That said, I did enjoy most of my time with RE4 on the Gamecube. The thing that kills those games for me is the giant spiders and all that nonsense.

Have you ever played dark souls?

I have. Played about 25 hours of the first Dark Souls and roughly the same of the second.
I really love them, but they stress me out. I find it hard to find time where I'm in the mood to play games that get to me like Dark Souls does.
From a design perspective, they're amazing. The fact that you can go from dying in the first few seconds of a boss fight to beating them flawlessly is awesome. That feeling after beating a boss you've died to 15 times, oh man. Hard to beat in video games.

What is your favorite Hearthstone card?

I'm really loving Undertaker at the moment. I'm playing a lot of a Deathrattle / Secret based hunter and it's super fun. Nearly every card in the deck is geared towards buffing a turn one Undertaker. You can end up with a 4/5 Undertaker pretty quickly, it's fun.
All time favourite is Ragnaros though, just a fun card to play with. Love a bit of randomness!

Is it just me, or was "Mad Max" a huge source of inspiration for LS:DZ ? (Thinking about the Deathmobile, the importance of fuel, etc... and after all, you're Australian.)

Yep, amongst a bunch of other influences. I love apocalyptic / dystopian future movies.
Here's a few of the films I re-watched while formulating Dead Zone:
- All the Mad Max films
- Salute of the Jugger (known as The Blood of Heroes in the US)
- Waterworld
- A Boy and His Dog (this one is a bit broken)
- Rollerball (the 70's original)
- Escape from New York & LA
- 12 Monkeys

What your normal working day looks like?

I'm in the office around 8-8:30am, grab a coffee, then I spend the first few hours checking emails and the forums for payment issues. Then an hour or so writing back to platforms and other people we work with. Doing business stuff is the other thing, paying bills, organising tax and pay for everyone etc.
When everyone else arrives at the office, we pretty much get down to work. Occasionally we will catch up on what needs to be done, but for the most part we sort that out during the day and people go on with their work.
I spend most of my days doing game design, which involves writing lists and spreadsheets. UI design as well, so lots of time in photoshop. A bit of extra 2D art work here and there, some level design, audio etc as well.
I'm really lucky because my team is very independent. I only have to get involved for approval or creative direction a few times over the course of a piece of work. They do a great job of carrying out my vision.
In between all that is some Hearthstone over lunch. At the end of the day, I'll occasionally jump in and watch the chat or jump in and talk to players. Then at around 6pm it's time to head home.
It's a job!

It seems like you're a Diablo fan. Whats the best in the series and your favorite class?

I like it a little bit. When Diablo 3 came out, the studio was shut down and we had "Diablo Day".
2 was and is still my favourite. Amazon, was my class from the expansion. Loved it, so much fun. I played nothing but LAN games with my housemates for nearly 6 months. Such a great game.
I appreciate the things that they've done with Diablo 3 and I've finished it a few times, but it didn't grab me the same way. I think that's mostly because I've played so many other games in the genre between 2 and 3.

Must ask question for any strayan, ford or Holden? :)

Holden. My Dad's doing. He built an EH Wagon when I was growing up, chromed out, bright yellow (for some reason). The thing was amazing. He also owned a 1971 HQ Monaro, in metallic purple when I was a kid. Three kids piled in the tiny back seat until Mum made him sell it.

Playstation 4 or Xbox one?

I own both. I've probably played them about the same. I was a big fan of the 360, so I was expecting to be enamoured by the One, but that hasn't been the case so far, I barely turn it on now.
I also was expecting not to like the PS4, mostly because I didn't like the PS3 controller. But the Dual Shock 4 is huge improvement. They finally fixed the triggers!
Honestly, I've been playing most of the games for those platforms on my PC, run through to my TV with a 360 controller. They look better and a lot of the time it's just more convenient.

The old "Ask Con Anything" was on spring.me, where you could link specific questions/answers (in forum posts for example). Any way that could happen here?

You can do the same here by linking to the time stamp at the bottom of the answer.

Right now Premium Boxes and HERC boxes are both dropping. Is this going to be the new norm? i.e. Whenever boxes drop there will be a premium version and a normal version?

Who knows, this is the first time we've done this with non-promotional boxes. We'll have to see how it goes.
