Any plans at this point for after "the island" is released?

We've talked about a bunch of stuff. But, we need to get to Union Island first!

If you weren't making a zombie game, what type of game would you make?

Well, if we go by my track record, it'd probably be a war game.
Other than that though, I'm constantly putting ideas together. At the moment, I have a list of about 20 game ideas that I've written design notes for, design documents for some and some I've even prototyped. They cover everything from war to fantasy to sci-fi.

I have millions of questions about the game, but the first one that comes to my mind is about the recycler. Why have it take so long? And, FYI, I would be all for an upgraded recycler like sort of like the DMU. I would be happy to fork over a couple more bucks for quicker recycling.

The time it takes is setup to stop people from being able to use their junk collections as a secondary source of resources. Because we don't have limits on how many items you can have in a stack (rookie MMO mistake), people could potentially have 10's of thousands of junk items which translates to huge amounts of the base resources.
Thanks for the feedback on a possible upgrade, we've had a few people say similar.

What do you think about making players chat mods?

It's not something we'd do I don't think. The active chatting community is small enough that we feel it'd cause problems if we appointed the wrong people.

TLS: Dead Zone has a very fun and engaging combat engine. Would you ever consider gaming a little military themed game using it? Or maybe a single-player mini-story for Dead Zone, focusing on mainly combat and loot collecting?

Thanks!
I do enjoy military themed games quite a bit, I'm not sure how well it would transfer to a game that is just about those elements though. I guess it would just become a military Diablo. That could be pretty great though!

Where do you see the Last Stand games going in the future?

Who knows. I've tried to change them up ever since Last Stand 2 in terms of gameplay, all the while retaining the core elements of the series.
Lots of ideas of places we could go with it in terms of gameplay styles, but nothing set in stone.

Con, where do you stand on the GIF pronunciation debate? Hard "G" or soft "G"?

A million times soft G. I worked in web design for years before this came up and it blew my miiiind that people could be saying it so...horribly. Gif, it's like a gift.
