If there was a sequel or a remake of Killer7, what would you change and what would you keep?

I'd change everything, call it a remake, and put title cards at the beginning and end assuring people it's the same game at heart.

What is like the most casual or low effort RPG / Dungeons & Dragons / Dungeon World thing me and some friends (all noobs, including myself) could do in maybe a couple hours, because it seems like a lot of fun but at the same time confusing and difficult to do with all beginners?

There are plenty of super-simple one-page microsystems out there. This is a fun one: http://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/2h7ezh/saving_all_outta_bubblegum/
Now the problem is that isn't exactly what you want. It looks fun, and it's certainly simple, but it doesn't teach you how to play it. Whoever ends up GMing may get stressed out by that and the players may get choice paralysis without a guide of what play is "supposed" to be like. Here's another that has the same problem to a lesser degree: http://onesevendesign.com/lasers_and_feelings_rpg.pdf
I'm linking these because you may still take to them and have a great time despite their lack of coaching. Dungeon World actually does do a good job of giving GMing advice, and there are guides out there tohelp you tailor your playstyle to its strengths. One of the best things you can do is find a friend or acquaintance who's already into games to help you out, or maybe find a local event. You can even use Six Feats Under or another podcast to see what a session in a certain game could look like.

I once considered cosplaying as Ganondorf, but wondered if dyeing my hair orange would look too silly. Perhaps I should go for a fiery red instead?

If you want people to ignore your hair, go whole hog and dye your skin green.

What made you and Chip decide update your podcast monthly instead of weekly or bi-weekly?

It's a schedule we can stick to without it infringing on the time needed to record the LPs and streams and get them all uploaded.

What's your favorite movie about movies/the movie-making process? Not just self-aware like Scream, though.

Jurassic Park. More recently, The Artist.

Do you have a favorite episode of Welcome To Night Vale?

They kind of all run together, but the recent bonus episode of Community College faculty meeting minutes was a lot of fun, and the first appearance of The Faceless Old Woman Who Lives in Your House was really good, and I liked the traveling Carnival freaking out and running away from the town is probably my favorite instance of Night Vale meeting the outside world.

Are you a fan of alcohol? Is there a particular brand you like to enjoy?

That's a bit like asking "are you a fan of amino acids?" but I do enjoy a drink every now and again.
