Miss KaiDarul, isn't it in islam, women should not expose their BEAUTY especially in public and social sites, how can you defend this as one of the "muslim hijabi-fashionista"? (just curious)
Thank you so much for asking this. I've been long wondering how my blog should be. After all, it has always been a personal blog until many people came reading.
First and foremost, my blog is for the Muslim women. I was influenced by many Muslimah bloggers all over the world to be modest. And I think, it is my duty to maybe indulge the younger ones in wearing more modest clothing. As for the clothing you say, I am now trying to revamp my closet. I want everything loose and less bright colours. It will take time somehow. For the makeup side, you know that we all sometimes go into euphoria of obsession. I am forgoing the shocking makeup and maintaining what Allaah has given me now. You can only see me wearing decent makeup on occasions, of course. I also have deleted several makeup videos long ago because I am saying goodbye to that aspect.
Men are bound to lower their gaze and should not be visiting a fellow Muslimah's blogs to give fitna. Going to my fashion/beauty site, as a Muslim brother, is not a form of lowering one's gaze.

One can't really generalize on that. We've all got our bad and good sides. It's like asking me if I am better than my Christian friends. I know I have flaws. So do they.
