what kind of cigarettes do you smoke? and when did you start smoking? and do you ever think about quitting? and why?

i switch brands a lot. some of the cheap cig spots only sell a couple brands cheap and the rest are full price. lately been smoking marb reds. been smoking on and off since 13. i smoke p sporadically, sometimes i 'quit' for a few months and then pick it up again. it's never like 'ok im going to quit smoking' i just stop feeling like i want to so i don't

how has going on the internet to communicate with/observe other people has influenced your writing/poetry?

probably in a lot of ways, but it's hard to say bc i started using the internet when i was very young. its just always been there, i don't have a frame of reference for how i would write if it wasn't

i work at a cheese shop. im a cheese monger. yup. also i make grilled cheese sandwiches in the store

used to be olde english but then they started doing the 'shatter proof' bottles and idk, i dont wanna drink beer out of plastic ever but especially not 40oz of beer out of plastic

i shouldn't even be giving this question the time of day but like
i don't really regulate my weight, i don't worry about what i eat (though i should probably try harder to eat more greenies and healthy stuff) and am pretty active having to stand on my feet and run around at work all day. my weight fluctuates around a bit but never to any extreme. i've been roughly the same size since like, age 15 or 16, so i'm pretty sure my body is doing exactly what it needs to do, and that's as much as i want to think about my weight and my body because it's really easy to get into negative spirals about not being good enough, easy to worry about how people perceive me based on my body alone, easy to over-analyze everything that could be smaller or larger or better, somehow.
i feel like messages like this kind of perpetuate those negative spirals

wat inspires u how r u

i like places where there are lots of people, crowded parks and trains and just walking down a street in manhattan at 5:30 in the afternoon. people are so interesting and so different. find myself wanting to write a lot more when i'm stranded in a sea of humans
i'm okay, recovering from a cold type thing. tomorrows my "friday" and it couldn't come soon enough

if you were sitting beside someone like on a bus, and your eyes got watery cause you yawned, how many times would you wipe your eye then look at your finger?

i dont know if i'd look at my finger, i'm trying to imagine this action and i think i'd wipe my eye with the back of my hand once, or more times if the eye continued to water

What flavor ice cream do you like best?

im a big fan of bright pink bubblegum flavor with gumballs in it. its hard to find.

What's your opinion of stairs or staircases in general?

staircases can be very cool looking, i'm a fan of spiral staircases and like grand lobby staircases (do you know what i'm talking about, i just made that term up to try to describe what i'm thinking of)
i really like sitting on stairs, they're a good hangout spot, tho it gets awkward if people try to use them for their actual purpose
climbing a lot of stairs feels like you're conquering something. its good

who are your favorite writers (the ones writing about getting old)?

so here's a fun fact about me:
i really dislike talking about my favorite anything, it makes me feel very vulnerable and anxious. i feel like people judge people so much based on their taste. when people say "what are you into?" it often feels like they're really trying to ask "what do you think is Good" and that's a question i don't want to answer because i am so young and new to this world, and there is so much out there, i've barely touched the surface of literature, i don't have any foundation for saying things are Good or Bad because i don't know enough about anything to make that call. and it seems crazy that people expect me to make that call, and judge me on it. no. i don't think i want to answer this question until i've lived enough life and read enough books for the true favorites to stand out in my memory

i can only think of two dead relatives and i hardly knew either of them.
was thinking "dead relative would be a good name for a song or an album," googled it, it's been used for both.

What music would you be okay to go deaf by listening to it, and possibly also create birth defects in your offspring?

probably none, just the idea of this is causing me anxiety

feel like the word pontificate makes little sense in this sentence, but idk i had to look it up and maybe the definition isn't really the same as general usage

i have two cats, or rather, one of my roommates has two cats, and they are very shy. i've never pet either of them. i love cats. most of the time i see them its just a quick flash of running. very occasionally they will come into my room and explore and then freak out when they realize i am there

jog, play with animals, read books, collage, cook a really big pot of soup to save or give to friends, ride around aimlessly on public transportation until you get somewhere you've never been before and then explore
