What’s most intriguing about the Cinderella story?
I guess people just like to see a story of love especially where the underdog (Cinderella was pretty much abused by her family from what I remember) finds love against all odds

I'm not exactly the most well-traveled person in the world so my opinion may be completely wrong but I think it depends on what you wanna see.

I'm only very vaguely interested in psychology. I wouldn't go out of my way to look up concepts and such.

What inspires you the most?
Not the most inspiring to me but it's a recent one. Last season, the St Louis Blues were last in the NHL. They had 34 points in January which is pretty terrible. They were thinking about trading key players. They ended up turning it around and winning the Stanley Cup, which they had never done in their 51 years of existence.
So I guess the moral of that story is 2-fold: No matter how bad things get they can always get better, and if you keep at it long enough eventually you'll reach your goals

On the other hand, I have been in situations where I have feelings for someone and they don't feel the same way. So I know how terrible it feels when someone you really like doesn't feel the same way. I'm not sure I'd feel particularly good about breaking someone's heart so I have to see it would be harder to say that I don't love someone back.

With my dad, it's pretty good. I don't feel comfortable going to him with personal problems but other than that everything is ok.
As for my mom? It's a very long story, but the main point is that we are not on speaking terms. After basically being raised to be nothing but an emotionless money making machine with no social life, and then being treated like subhuman trash when I finally found people I could really call friends, I think you can see why I wouldn't want to speak with her anymore. Hell, she tried to taunt me into hitting her a few times so she could call the police on me. And this is AFTER she spent an hour or so basically calling me worthless trash who would be better off dead. So she's more of a bully than a mother to me.
