If you were forced to sleep in a noisy environment, what'd you do to make that easier? šŸ˜“šŸŽ§

A fan or white noise machine. I donā€™t much care to have plugs in my ears.

Say you were gonna sleep at a place with no beds, what would you bring to make yourself comfortable? šŸ›ļøšŸš«

Is it the same place as @GlindaBells
Well, I would bring a cardboard box about the size to hold a toaster oven. When she finished setting up her airbed, I would briefly go outside then come back in frantically saying ā€œoh my, someone just abandoned a box of kittens outside.ā€ After she rushes outside to an empty box, I would plant myself on her airbed.
Iā€™m too heavy for her to remove me from the bed.

What gives you the ick?

About a month ago I happened to see multiple episodes of Trafficked with Mariana Van Zeller running on a Sat afternoon. It seems NatGeo added 1 word (Underworlds) and called it a ā€œnewā€ show at season 1. My DVR did not catch it. Caught up with it over a weekend with the on-demand library.

It is allergy season. I think it is a specific tree pollen, but not sure which. About another 4 weeks and the worst will be over for me.

Out of a sense of morbid curiosity just how many friends did you have 15-20 years ago? I swear, I've never seen someone reconnect with this many friends after so many years, lol!

I really canā€™t give you a finite number. Iā€™ve come across many people in my life with whom Iā€™ve had an interaction more than just a ā€œHelloā€ in passing. Most are US based people, some are international. Due to my life choices in my education and professions, Iā€™ve lived in several US states. My business travel has added to my interactions. Some people I keep regular contact with, and others not so much. Now because of the socials, one can know where friends and acquaintances live.
If Iā€™m going to in a particular city for work or leisure with some available personal time, I will reach out to a person from my past. Even if there has not been steady contact through the years, I would estimate over 80% are willing to meetup for maybe a lunch or supper.
Making connections and reconnecting with people enriches my life as it does with many.
Youā€™ve lived on 2 continents to include 3-4 (more?) US states. How many connections have you made? If there is nobody from your past you want to see again, why is that?

If you were thrown into a professional kitchen and were expected to cook, do you think you'd be able to keep up? šŸ”ŖšŸ”„(Inspired by this year's student musical I was part of)

Imagine the pro kitchen is a tree in a jungle. The pace of activity is that of a monkey swinging freely across the branches.
I am the 3 toed sloth in the tree.
