What are your thoughts, on this gentleman's thinking? Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners.

Yours too, huh? I have insomnia, but I kinda got used with it.

Yeah, I have that issue too, it is really annoying to be tired and not be able to sleep, but thats life I guess lol

@regaljoe asks, "What item from your childhood do you wish you could find again?"

I had this stuffed animal that was a furry orange cat, with a white muzzle and belly, it had something in it that rattled when you shook it lightly, making it sound kind of like it was purring when it was being petted, or cradled and rocked slightly in my arms like a baby. To this day, I have no idea what happened to it, and think my parents threw it away, which is sad because it was definitely one of my favorite toys when I was a little girl. It would be cool to find another one like it.

Hmm, regular life.. regular's kinda boring for me..

Same, but I got used to putting up with it, and my regular life is still a bit different than other peoples regular lives, so that thought makes it seem a little less dull lol

@shandude asks, "What's your favorite animal and why?”

My favorite animal is the ocelot, because they are awesome sauce. They are supposed as the wildcats that our common house cats of today originally developed from, as they are some of the smallest wildcats known, and despite their size, they have managed to survive as a species this long because they are cunning and tough in their own rights, which I think is pretty cool, and as an added bonus, they look adorable ^.^

Plenty of times I came across people suggesting others to move on if someone they love doesn't love them back. Do you think that if they don't love them in return it makes them unworthy of love? Is this really the essence of the emotion we call love that we should love only those who love us?

shahwaar’s Profile Photoshahwar
I do not think people say to move on from others who dont like you in return, as a way to say the other person is not worthy of your love, I think they mean it more as a way to try and encourage you to not let yourself keep hurting by staying attached to that person, I believe people say to move on because they care about you and dont want to see you upset about not being loved in return by a specific person, and I dont think we should only love those who love us, I have found most times it is better to love, and not be loved in return, than to give up on love because you do not see it being projected back onto yourself, when loving others, even if not being loved in return, I find that people are generally much happier as a person and about themself, even if they have to deal with the heartache caused by it, but in a way I feel like they get stronger as a person after dealing with heart ache, making them shine more beautifully, and that too could be cause for them to be happier about themselfs.

Haha. Of all other people you know on this website, you chose me to be declared as the most serious person. Man! It sounds strange but I kinda loved it. I don't mind being thought of as a serious person. It brought a smile on my face. Thanks for that. Stay blessed. :)

Haha, glad it made you happy, hope you have a good day ^.^

Am pretty good tooooo, why so inactive here?

I have just been a bit busy lately, Im glad you are doing good though ^.^

What kind of place do you think is ideal for the first date? Why do you think so?

I think it depends on the people, their preferences, and the time of year the date is in, for example a picnic or something could be cool, but probably not the best idea in the winter, there are plenty of other cool options for first dates as well though, so it is really up to the couple, and what they feel resonates best with them and their preferences...

I'm not saying I'm a fan of Obama, but why does the public blame him for everything? Is Congress just as guilty as him? Or am I confused again? Lol. Apparently, this happens a lot. :)

ThomasGWS’s Profile PhotoThomas
I think the public blames him for everything because he is the icon as leader of our country right now since he is the president, and most people dont realize how little power in the court decisions he actually has, so they assume he is the one with the power, and therefore it has to be his fault right? but no, it isnt because he has practically no power of his own, also I think people have always blamed presidents for issues to some degree, even before Obama, but that it is gradually getting worse as people rely more on the government for things

Now that a new year is on us, are you going to actively participate in gender issues on a political level? If so, are you leaning more towards 3rd wave feminism or masculism(Men's Rights Activists, meninists, etc)? Neither? Please explain.

ThomasGWS’s Profile PhotoThomas
I dont think I will be actively participating in gender things, as I am not bothered much with how things currently are, and have never been one to feel the need for actively fighting for one side or the other, I feel like both sides each have their respective different, both with pros and cons, so it balances out to be fairly even on either side...

Has your city/community been hit hard with the prescription pill epidemic in recent years? If so, has it changed your community in drastic ways? BQ: Why is heroin abuse on the rise? Is it associated with the pain pill epidemic? BQ2: Why has Kentucky and West Virginia been hit the hardest?

ThomasGWS’s Profile PhotoThomas
I do not think my area has been hit very hard with it, thankfully, so it has not changed much in my location, and I have no idea why those areas were hit with it as hard as they were, nor why they have been hit harder than other places...

So, do you have any predictions about who the next president is going to be? (this question isn't asking who you think should be president). Why do you think this person will win? BQ: If you don't care, please explain why.

ThomasGWS’s Profile PhotoThomas
Sadly I think Trump might win, because I know a lot of people who are routing for him, and of all the people running, he is the one I see apear in the media most often, but personally I hope someone else wins...

You used to love someone but later you came to realize that they were not what you thought they were and you probably don't love them anymore. What does it say about you?

Maybe that you are not very accepting of change, or perhaps that you judged them too soon in the beginning, building them up with your ideals and what you wanted to see, instead of viewing them for their actuality of them self, yet again it could just be that they are really good at acting, and are barley starting to show their true colors, who knows?

Would you rather have a little bit of knowledge about everything or definite knowledge about a particular thing/subject? How would you justify your choice?

shahwaar’s Profile Photoshahwar
I think I would rather have a little bit of knowledge about everything, because then you can make more rounded and reasonable choices about things when you need to, or you can give better advice about things, and be able to give multiple reasons to back it up, where I feel if you had absolute knowledge about just one thing, you would not know enough information about other things to make the most reasonable choices, since people commonly stick to things they know, and try to avoid the unknown, so they would be extremely one sided about things without knowledge of other sides...

I just figured out the new ask format lets you unlike answers. How odd. I wonder why they don't allow comments on answers? That would be fun.

ThomasGWS’s Profile PhotoThomas
I think it would be cool if they allowed comments as well, but they are probably trying to prevent trolls, or just rude people in general from leaving mean comments
