If I remeber what I have been taught correctly we have emotions to help motivate us to the good. God being goodness itself has no need of them but to help us understand God we speak of him having emotion so that rising from things we know we might glimpse God who is unseen.

Water helps to wake you in the morning?
I can not really think of an occassion when I have used water to wake myself up. I have certainly on the rare occassion splashed water in my face during the day to wake me. But in the morning it is most often turning my mind to God which really gets my day and my mind started and that is how I want to be always!
