Ohhh well id like to say everyone became my like semi good friend bc I honestly loved everyone this past few days! But in terms of getting to know ppl REALLY well (or just getting to know people in general since I'm pretty new) I would say I got to know many people in my ward better (like Charmaine, Andrea, Natalie jones etc) but in the process of planning YC I got to know lots of other people from other wards as well!! Like cleo, bry torf, Gordon, Kirsten, Kelly and Shirley, jemaine, olive and SO MANY MORE

this is really random, but i found your ask and i saw that you moved to singapore and had half a year off before school starts, which is my situation too, and i was just wondering what you did with your six months off?? bc i don't want to waste time but i'll probably end up watching tv shows oops

Usually I would laugh bc I'm the last person anyone should ask on time management
But in this case I can proudly say that I actually did not really waste anytime!
Firstly like how old are you? If you're the age I was when I moved back (15/16) then it's important that you try to keep a balance of revision and like mental exercise. I did not do this. My life in November and December was the worst because basically when I realized how close placement exams were I started crying because I realized I couldn't even remember the quadratic formula. Anyways so yeah, revision is important omg I cannot stress.
Also if you are 15/16 you can WORK yay
I worked at accessorize for 3-4 months after my summer holidays
It was definitely the only productive thing I did and I was really glad I did it because having never lived in Singapore before I had no friends but working got me like really into making new friends again even though all the girls I worked with were in college lel
So yeah
Also people might say pick up a new hobby and stuff but really I think that's bull
Just retain as much knowledge as you can, work to get life experience, exercise if you can be bothered lol
And really just make an effort to do stuff that you wouldnt/couldnt afford to do during the school year
