I’m always trying to compete for someone’s love and attention but all I ever receive from them is complete silence or a rejection of some sort. I wish I could be appreciated for who and how I am without putting in extra effort but sadly, that’s not the case. When will I be genuinely appreciated?

Speak your intentions or desires clearly and directly and reciprocate the love and energy that’s given to you.
Have you tried talking to the person telling them or just not talking or telling them how you feel
