No everything is about self-interest. Everybody does things for what they get out of it. That's all they do; pleasure is the motivating factor, the driving force. Money is an inanimate object; money does nothing but exist. People motivated by their self-interest (and yes even the person who volunteers or gives to charity does it because of how it makes it them feel, keyword being them.) I would also argue that not every single pleasure-seeking adventure is evil and wicked some people actually are much more pleasant to be around after they've taken care of whatever pleasure sensor they needed to have zapped in their brain.
