I feel like companies and employers should be more understanding of parents, esp single parents. Like "hey, this is a single mom who's trying to fend for her offspring. Her schedule wont be of someone without children. Let's see how we can help her" but no. Bc in capitalism ur life is worth nothing
i have conflicting thoughts about this. although it would be lovely to live in a world where companies were more accommodating of peoples schedules based on their home life, it's just not realistic. and just because someone has children it shouldn't give them special privileges to go home early or at different time or get holidays off bc they're a parent. childless people also deserve decent working hours, holidays off, etc.
