That's very true. And why would someone want to be with anyone who does not even have the capacity to make their own decisions. To me it's an extremely unattractive trait, you even lost the privilege to call yourself free or independent, and to call your life yours. I'm not just saying it in regards to just relationships, it's more worrisome when you need your parents approval to make your career choices. If you don't have the capacity to take a stand for yourself, how will you take a stand for someone else.
Weak, malleable and passive men are the end of a society, this is not your natural state.
