Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?

Having experienced true love and devistating heartbreak, I can honestly say I would choose to have never loved at all. Ignorance is bliss, truly. Before the heartbreak I was happily unaware of the pain and loneliness another person could cause me. I felt whole being just me. Now I am left with a painful scar that has never quite healed completely, because without the one I love I am imcomplete. :)

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

A very interesting semantics question! It comes from usage. People got into the habit of asking, "What's on [the] TV tonight?", referring to their own TV sets. However, when you wonder what movies are available, there are many theaters to choose from---so rather than referring to one theater screen, you refer to many: "What movies are playing?" That difference in usage has carried over to our everyday references to TV shows and movies themselves.

If glue is sticky and is used to stick things together...how come it doesn't stick to the inside of the bottle?

the glue needs to be exposed to air; if it’s not exposed to air, the glue usually won’t dry. So, by keeping glue in a sealed up bottle, there isn’t enough air reaching the glue for the water to dry out and the glue to stick! (On the outside of the bottle, it’s a different story… streaks or droplets of glue will almost always harden and stick.)

Well I think that all relationships are that way. I mean do you love your parents b/c you have been with them all your life and you never got to choose them and you were told that you love your parents? Well yeah kind of right. You learn to love and sometimes you get to choose who you love, but regardless there are always emotional ups and downs and you won't always feel the same all of the time but you have to know where your loyalty lies, right? Otherwise, you'll never have anyone. :)
