Hello~ do you know how to get tickets for melon music awards and mamas?

both do it through normal ticketing but for melon awards, melon users get first priority. ticketing for mama never sells out so that's easier to aim for.

totally not exo related 😂 but i've been following you for years now and I admire you so much with the way you carry yourself (online) as a normal person and a fan. you just stands out from the rest. If its not intrusive may I know what motivates you to be better? thank youuuu

wow thank you :o idk why but i feel so flattered ;~;
i am very determined to be happy! i want to live life to the fullest so i wholeheartedly pursue the things i love. at the moment, a big part of my happiness is jongin so at any one time i will have a plan to travel somewhere to see him. even if it's a vague plan, it keeps me going and spurs me to work harder. it helps that i love my job and gain a lot of satisfaction and pride from it. the more i get better at work, the more money i have to travel, the happier i get.
tldr: jongin motivates me to do better? hahaha

how are you ordering albums with kaibar?

through a friend. i'm not actually getting 15 albums hahaha i'm just getting the passport cover

how do you get such good fancams using a phone? do you queue really early for front row or just fight your way when you're there?

we have queue numbers. i... pay for first row queue numbers.

The dramas that ended weeks ago were all good. (They all ended in the same week, i think) Circle Lookout The Best Hit (There's one more but I forgot the title. But the season for these 3 was a golden time for kdrama lovers who do not like loveteam-focused themes.)

i really liked the best hit!!! i think the other one is fight my way which i didn't like as much. after i try signal i'll try lookout and check out circle thanks!

thank you so much you've been super helpful and i really appreciate it, now i can start planning the trip with these tips ^^

have fuuuuun!!!
ps. for staying options there's four more popular areas:
1. hongdae - my first choice because nice surroundings + convenient + nice airbnbs/hostels. cons: no hotels.
2. myeongdong - where most hotels are, can be pricier, but shopping and food is at your doorstep.
3. dongdaemun - cheap but rundown older area
4. gwanghwamun - old school korea, has traditional houses where you sleep on mats!

gasp omg how could i forget about visiting the dolls shop!!!! yes that would definitely be included in places to visit 😂 also i'm definitely not gonna skip ewha *__* aaaahh animal cafes! do you have any recommendations for that? (my niece is a cat person) ohhh and patbingsu place that we should try?

i haven't been to any cat cafes in seoul but my friends recommend cat's attic in hongdae.
as for bingsu, stick with the basics - sulbing is everywhere and it's good. plus it has limited edition fruit flavours like an entire melon in summer and the now trending peach bingsu. just don't go to caffe benne for anything. bad coffee bad bingsu.
for novelty's sake you can also try palsaik bbq. it's not the BEST meat, and there's branches all over the world, but hey, 8 flavours of meat! my favourite is herb 😁

wow thank you for all the tips! that's really helpful ^^ oh, it sorts of a family trip?? i'm bringing my brother and niece with me. if this trip is up to me then it will be super into fandom stuff lol so i'm trying to balance it so that it's a memorable and fun trip for my brother +

oh and 👀 i'm not encouraging you but the exo doll clothes store is called sp factory.
it's on the sixth floor of the building right next to the artbox opposite su karaoke. it's a shady looking lift and if you smell raccoons you got it right.
and! stylenanda in hongdae has a free photobooth where you can take and print pictures :3

(who doesn't like window shopping and walking around 😩) and also for my niece (her first time going overseas). so yeah i would like it to be a mixed of fandom related (exo for me, my niece is still finding her way to her fav fandom so she likes everything for now) +

for the exo side of things, definitely go to myeongdong then. your brother can eat the street food, your niece can take in the sheer CROWDS of myeongdong and you can head down into the underground streets and buy albums/check out goods 😂
the sum store in coex is honestly breathtaking. the downside is it's quite far from everything and there's nothing much to do in gangnam. if you want, there's an expensive but tiny aquarium in coex. i say it's worth dragging everyone to sum anyway hahahah
even if you're not going to anything fandom related, kpop is everywhere~ in fact almost every person i know who goes to seoul bumps into a filming or idol lol

cafe hopping + any interesting places with a good view + museums + delicious restaurant + street food + amusement park + SHOPPING!!! + unique trinkets to bring home as souvenirs, yeah i think that's about it haha (also sorry for spamming)

you can buy cheapest souvenirs at dongdaemun market, but insadong is a good place too! you can fit insadong into your palace/gwanghwamun day. this is a fun place to have lunch, 10mins walk from the palace http://pheurontay.com/tong-in-market-lunchbox-dosirak-cafe/
namsan will give you the best views of the city and it's fun to tie locks in! as for amusement parks, there's also everland but last time i went in december, it was so cold they closed down all the rides. lotte world s fully indoor.
since your brother is following, maybe you'll want to skip ehwa. (it's so pretty for pictures and has so many cheap clothes tho :c) perhaps he'll enjoy noryangjin fish market more, or gwangjang market for the food. other silly things to do is the trick eye museum because it's cheap and good for a laugh.
if you're fans of animals, there's a meerkat cafe and raccoon cafe in hongdae. in fact, the raccoon cafe in hongdae is two floors below the exo doll clothes store. you can also try bau house, the most popular dog cafe.
hongdae is cafe land while sinchon is food heaven but my friend has a food rec thread here- https://twitter.com/mychanchans/status/873865800045674496

hello! i'm planning to go to seoul this nov/dec and it's my first time. do you have any places that a ~must-go/visit~ you recommend on going??? thank you in advance!

hi! usually it depends on what kind of things do you like - shopping, museums? are you in any fandoms? is it a family trip or friends?
in general these are the first timer should dos. each - dash lists places that can be combined in one day
- wear hanboks at gwanghwamun / gyeongbok temple / bukchon hanok village
- myeongdong / namsan tower (bring your own locks for namsan! personally i hate myeongdong but if you want to buy albums or try overpriced street food, this is the best place)
- dongdaemun market / cheonggyecheon stream / ddp rose garden / ihwa mural village
- ehwa uni is pretty in autumn and shopping is WAY better than touristy hongdae! (same shirt could be 5,000won at ehwa but 10,000 at hongdae)
- i pretty much don't leave hongdae when i'm in seoul haha. the other half of my time is usually spent in gangnam where the SUM store is. SUM is a must visit even if you're not a sm fan because ! capitalism ! is amazing
- lotte world (wear animal ears!)
it will be very cold so download the mangoplate app and find pretty cafes to go to~ if you want cafe recs, i can help too! or if you want more specific recs, let me know.
