What would you say are Dexter's flaws?
he's very self-assured, which makes him incredibly oblivious and naive when it comes to how other people feel about something. he's used to doing things at his own pace because he has very little doubt (if any) that things will turn out okay. (remember when he and hadley argued about him introducing himself to hadley's parents?) his self-confidence, while not exactly a flaw, gets in the way of him truly understanding hadley. if anything, he might actually never get to truly understand her and the way she sees the world and herself.
how did the internship go?
really well!! our grades came out this week and i scored pretty high. kinda curious as to what my supervisors wrote in the evaluation sheet though. we were asked to submit it to our internship adviser sealed in an envelope so i never knew what they actually thought of me

I'm pretty sure you get asked this a lot but is there ANY way to read the Heartbroken Heartbreaker before it was edited. sorry if this is a repeated question, but after reading chance encounters and the heartbroken heartbreaker, i must ask if there will be an alyssa and warren spin-off type thing? i'm in love with their characters and from the small glimpses i got of them, i'm dying to know their story. love ur work!!

i use vsco but not bc of the filters. more on the post processing bright-contrast-sharpness edits i often use
Do you think their are any similarities between Hadley and Kyla and Dexter and Seth?
i think one of my biggest challenges in writing is in characterization. all my fmc's always seem to be similar in that they are often introverted and hesitant to love, except for rachel, who might actually be my favorite character among them so far. as such, hadley and kyla definitely do have similarities, though i would argue that hadley is tons more mature than kyla.
my male mmc's almost always have one thing in common too: they're lovable. HAHAHA KIDDING. sorta. but yeah, my mmc's are usually chatty, witty and smooth. (it's what makes me think i'd be smooth, if, u know, i actually have anyone to flirt with)
