it's really hard to say. we have a lot of great, wonderful memories together. lauren and i fight. and we're most certainly not a perfect couple. people assume we don't have problems, but our story is a long one. we have conflicts we face today. we have scars. bad memories. it's hard. but it's supposed to be. it's the kind of difficult that is also easy in it's own way. hard to do, but easy to want to because i love her.

with that said, i'll pick the memory of the first time i met lauren. it wasn't love at first sight. i don't believe in love at first sight. that's just attraction for someone's appearance romanticized. but we clicked. not instantly.

we fell in love the boring way - we became friends. we talked and talked and talked and talked. and boom, feelings.

sometimes love whispers in your ear. other times it taps you on the shoulder and holds your hand gently. but me? love hit me on the head with a frying pan, dumped me in hot oil, and rolled me in fire. that's how hard i fell.
