Relationships require work. So if you're looking for easy, you're always going to be disappointed. Instead, look for someone who values you, respects you, and is willing to build something with you.
Sure, I'm always saying communication is key. But patience is as well. Look for the person who takes the time to grow with you, doesn't get angry at you for your mistakes but helps you instead, gives you advice, etc. Not only that, but people have different love languages, so make sure you know yours, and learn what your partners is. It helps a lot.
- red flags
- have self-respect
- chivalry isn't dead but its also not always needed. Healthy balance
- know what you want
- trust gut instincts about the person
- how they treat you + others
- set boundaries.. even better if you both agree on them. Know that some could change in the moment and that's ok too. Just get back to "normal " next time.
- communication
- how you feel around them
- get to know them. Not just the good sides.
