Are grammar and punctuation important in social media?
I actually have two drastically different styles of writing, one for chatting and for social media and the second for formal works of writing and literature.
this is a quick sample of my informal style !! spaces before exclamation marks and question marks are very common. isn't it much more cutesy, almost like that of a sweet kiddo ?? >v<
My second style is much more prim and proper; I often use this one in my creative writing. It's incredibly strict when it comes to grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Semicolons are often used in either of my writing styles, but dashes - to separate sentences into sections so they're easier to read, no less - are exclusive to this one.
