So the last relationship I was in ended in 2020 and I struggled so so much with the circumstances and how it's changed my life and not for the better. This person is a pathological liar and narcissistic so it was easy to disconnect and completely shut off from the illusions of feelings I had towards them. 🤢
So this next bit I'm interpreting your question a bit differently.
Since 2020 I have been single and not in a relationship, but there's been one person I attached to pretty quickly and definitely unexpectedly after I was in the previous toxic relationship. Something about this person has/had a hold on me, I didn't understand at the time why this happened but I've figured it out now.
Maybe it was too much at the time and this person thought the intention was like a rebound but that wasn't the case for me at all, I was just as emotionally overwhelmed trying to understand it all.
One day I hope we can talk some things out, things weren't left in the best of terms. Who knows what will or won't happen. 🌸
