How do you heal a broken heart? ❓

The antidote to a broken heart is to not give up on life. Look for and find opportunities to laugh more. Pursue either an artistic; or creative endeavour. Living life with passion will bring life back into you... We are all called; not JUST to ENDURE our pain and suffering, but also to CHANNEL our suffering, and harness it to fuel our creativity..

What would you do when you have to choose between your partner or your family

It would depend on WHY I had to choose in the first place. If it was my family trying to force me to choose between them or my partner, I would likely choose the partner. (Provided they are NOT abusive, dishonest, or disloyal.) If it was the PARTNER forcing me to choose between the family and them, and trying to isolate me from my family, I would likely choose the family over the manipulative partner. It obviously also depends on whom of the two alternatives will provide you with a healthier environment for development and growth...

❓❗️ What do you think of love at first sight?

I think what people refer to as "Love at first sight" is actually just "Infatuation at first sight". I m NOT denying that a person can fall in love VERY QUICKLY, but the idea that you can TRULY "Love" a person that you've only barely looked at, and you have never even spoken to (or potentially not even HEARD them speak before!) is RIDICULOUS.
The TRUE definition of love is the willingness to self sacrifice, and put the needs, desires, and priorities of the loved person ahead and above your own. It's not possible to TRULY LOVE someone you haven t had ANY interactions with.
I think there IS a true version of "True Love at First sight"; however. It is when a Mother (or Father) first looks at and holds their newborn child. In THAT scenario; I believe that Love at first sight NOT ONLY exists; but is the commonplace, and typical reaction...

Why

Because I have been blessed. Even though much has been taken from me; that has also made me more appreciative of just how much has also been given to me...

Would you cheat ?

anon
I'd never cheat on the love of my life. When you find the right one, staying loyal is central to maintaining a strong relationship...

Do you trust people easily ?

Almost always not. However, some people,; you can just tell are trustworthy, almost immediately...

something that you want to change, but are unable to

I would want to tell Coral all the things I've learned since I last saw her. I'd want to apologize to her; and help her understand the changes I 've gone through; as well as the revelations that have been shown to me about how to untangle her despair. At least I can be sure she knows she is still loved...

Can a human without hope live a full and happy life?

Of Course! But they must first FIND hope. The lie is that such a thing is impossible. There is a story of Jesus coming across a crippled beggar, who was decrepit and unable to move from his mat. He had been left by the side of a pool known as the waters of Bethesda. On the porches surrounding this pool were many sick, crippled, and infirm. When an angel would appear and would "trouble the waters", the first person in the pool would be healed. This particular crippled person was completely immobile, and had no-one to help him into the pool. Yet; for more than 30 years, he cling to hope. Then; when Jesus confronted this particular beggar; he asked a peculiar question. He asked the beggar "Wilt thou be made whole?" (A rough translation of this would be something like "do you want to be healed?"). This might seem strange, almost ARROGANT of Jesus, a ma who had suffered VERY LITTLE up to this point, and had likely NEVER known true hunger or illness. And yet; his question is still prescient. There are many people who are in HORRENDOUS circumstances, but they are complacent; even COMFORTABLE in their misery. To be made whole would bring WITH IT additional responsibility and work, and would require discipline and diligence. It is easier to just remain in the comfort zone, and allow the addiction to WHATEVER (video games, drugs, alcohol, etc...) to numb out the misery and despair. But this is a trap that leads to an endless death-spiral cycle. If you WANT to be made whole, and to be fully healed, then you need to resolve in your heart; not just your mind that you will pay WHATEVER price it takes to regain that hope, and to be made whole. If you can do that; you can walk away healed TONIGHT!
I'm going to pray for you. If you want to read the story I summarized above; you can find it in John Chapter 5; verses 1-18. I'll link to the whole chapter online; below...

How to make depression go away? /srs

The.antitode to despair is fulfillment. Simply acquiring more wealth or possessions or fun experiences will merely leave you feeling empty...
To achieve fulfillment; you must first discover Purpose. If you have no purpose; you will not find happiness.
To find purpose, you must have goals, dreams, desire, ambition, discipline, and direction.
Focus on your own developement; ns helpung those around you when they TRULY need it; everything else is irrelevant

The only person who decides who he is going to become is you.

"INVICTUS" BYWILLIAM ERNEST HENLEY
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank the God that there must be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.

YO! 😅 Any tips on what breed is best for a newcomer to get a dog?

marylinroberge’s Profile PhotoMarylin Roberge
It depends on the environment and interactions the dog will be placed into. Anything involving either urban living, or small children means special considerations should always be taken. I am quite partial to Scottish terrier and bloodhounds; but this website will give you a great basic overview of the pros and cons of the most common breeds. Also, mixed breed dogs cost less, live longer healthier lives, and also incur fewer medical bills...
