I really canāt give you a finite number. Iāve come across many people in my life with whom Iāve had an interaction more than just a āHelloā in passing. Most are US based people, some are international. Due to my life choices in my education and professions, Iāve lived in several US states. My business travel has added to my interactions. Some people I keep regular contact with, and others not so much. Now because of the socials, one can know where friends and acquaintances live.
If Iām going to in a particular city for work or leisure with some available personal time, I will reach out to a person from my past. Even if there has not been steady contact through the years, I would estimate over 80% are willing to meetup for maybe a lunch or supper.
Making connections and reconnecting with people enriches my life as it does with many.
