What is better: bitter truth or sweet lies?

I live in the bitter truth. Maybe some sweet (believable) lies would be a welcome change.
"Hey Neo, you are quite the handsome fellow." (too much)
"Hey Neo, you aren't hideous looking." (Better)

In your answer on sleep paralysis were you aware of a strong feeling of dread ? Because that's definitely how I remember it. Just curious if you can remember any dreams or other sensation that you were experiencing at the time.

Yes, there was a feeling of dread. I thought there was someone in my house but could not defend myself

Donald Trump wants to bring back 'stop and frisk'. But Hilary Clinton says it has been found to be ineffective. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/sep/22/donald-trump-stop-frisk- What are your thoughts on this?

Terry v Ohio gave police the power to do this. What Hillary is unwilling to admit is that it does work in certain areas of a city. NYC pushed this heavily to reduce crime. Groups say it targets minorities…which it can. Hillary should have mentioned it being unconstitutional (NYC ruled on this).
I’m not fond of the stop and frisk due to our 4th Amendment (unreasonable search and seizure). Our Supreme Court has allowed it through their rulings (Arizona v Johnson allows a pat down during a minor traffic violation).

Do you have or want a tattoo? What and where?

Considering the FDA has not approved any inks and they can be the same as printer ink or automobile paint, I'm not interested in having that injected into me.

The Rothschild family has a net worth of $500-$700 trillion dollars. To put that in perspective, the US debt, which is so large it supposedly will bankrupt the nation, is only $24 trillion dollars. How can a family be that wealthy? Does anyone wish to guess?

Your numbers are more than the total GDP of the entire planet.

What's your dream job and why? What kind of salary would you be content with for the rest of your life? What are the downsides of that job?

The thing with dream jobs is that once we find one, we realize how much work it is. I'd like to test new cars, but the fun of it would be mitigated by all the writing deadlines. I'm not much of a creative/entertainment writer.
$25/hr (£19.28) with good health/dental/vision coverage would be suitable as long as it had a short commute and low stress.

Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? What was your experience like?

Maybe. I've thought I was just barely awake but could not move. Though wouldn't sleep paralysis happen while I'm sleeping leaving no memory?

Hi Neo, what happened in the end with Jack and Penelope? Have you actually met a Penelope or did you just want to use an unusual woman's name ?

lizzypickles’s Profile PhotoLizzy Pickles
They had a bit of a rough patch and spent some time apart. After reconciliation, they are back together and contemplating marriage.
I've not met a Penelope in person. When I picked that name, I wanted something different.

Do you ever mix the days of the week? Like I totally thought today is Saturday and I'm wondering why my husband isn't home yet...then I saw friday on my phone😂

This sometimes on the weekend when I wake up at night thinking I have to be up soon for work. It takes a few moments to realize what day it is.

what was the last thing you did that made you cringe? (or are you just way too smooth to do anything cringe-worthy?)

sscabss’s Profile Photoscabs
Giving blood (whether a donation or for a medical appt). I do NOT like being stuck with a needle. Donating is for the common good though.

when was the last time you took time to do something you didn't want to do? BQ: was the the thing you did ever so grudgingly done out of novelty, necessity, or love?

sscabss’s Profile Photoscabs
Going to some medical appts recently. I had to take time off work for it but it was medically necessary.

When, if ever, can cruelty be seen as an act of kindness and why?

Removing life support from someone in a (near) brain-dead state of being. It is generally considered cruel to not save a life, but us mercy letting someone pass on.

have you ever thought about all of the people you will never meet after you're gone, people who will only learn about you and who you were through someone else? what sorts of descriptions/stories do you think others would use to best capture the essence of who you were?

sscabss’s Profile Photoscabs
That really hasn't crossed my thoughts. There are probably some funny stories about me. I'd guess people would say I was fun, adventurous, and outspoken.
