Is it okay for a girl to ask a guy out on a date?
I say no. A man, a real man likes to pursue his woman. They don't want the woman to pursue him. They feel that girl is desperate and will most likely do that to other men. They want a lady who plays hard to get. If he likes you, he'll ask you out. If you come to him first. He'll only screw you, tell his friends how easy you were and that you're a slut, and leave you. A real woman don't want that type of reputation.

Parents that's too lazy to hang out with their children, and spend time with them, so they substitute it with technology.

Have you read the book called Imani All Mine? I haven't read it since High School, but it's a great book. Also try out the book call, It Happened To Nancy. If you haven't already. Those are good reads. It also make you think twice before making certain decisions as well as it make you be aware if people and your surroundings.
