Rain is fine. I like it sometimes, but not much lately. Fall has a slight edge on seasons, but they are all fine. My favorite weather is partly cloudy with a breeze.

I'd rather not have a pet. While there are some cool ideas about what kind of animal to live with, they are almost all more responsibility.

I can't see a psychological mechanism that would facilitate that - shallow people would be attracted to what, specifically, about someone who is overconfident? I can see it attracting people who are timid or lack confidence in themselves though.

When do you usually start preparing gifts for Christmas?
Depends. I've bought things in June and on the 24th of December. My big push seems to be in early December.

I mostly read news stuff nowadays, so I'm not reading a lot of things I like.

The atmosphere. It's not just the cookies and lights and decorations and people being a little bit nicer. There is an air of living nostalgia to everything. It's kind of disconcerting, but pleasantly so.
