How can I come out about being a lesbian? Was it hard for you coming out?xxx
i didn't find it hard because i wasn't aware of the hate people can get for being gay, i was just like "yeah i'm gay" and THEN i realised that it was an uncool thing but i didn't care at all, i stuck to being me :D
a good way to come out would be to start with your closest and bestest friends who you really trust and are most likely to accept you so you have someone for support :)
and then just gradually come out to more and more people (it's a good way of knowing who your real friends are, those that leave aren't worth it, those that stay are cool <3)
with your family, it's entirely up to you when or how you do it but the main thing to make sure is that you are ready. it helps if you know you're family isn't homophobic, then you can probably just sit them down and just say it and explain it.
if they're homophobic, you don't have to come out to them unless you feel you need to, as i said, it's entirely up to you. <333
