It means "headland," which is a narrow piece of land that projects from a coastline into the sea. So basically nothing.

What traits do you have that are just like your mother?
We are both very detail and schedule-oriented (even if I don't always stick to mine, lol): everything has to be just so and get done at X time with Y methods. We also tend to live less in the moment and be more concerned with planning for the future. We also both have really awesome hair.
What TV show has gone off the air that you wish would come back?
Pushing Daisies, so it can have a proper conclusion. :'D

I'm currently doing an internship w/a place based in LA, hopefully I'll get hired on there afterwards. Moving to LA may also be in the cards but nothing's decided yet.

Books: Les Miserables, The Color Purple, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Remains of the Day, The Count of Monte Cristo
Anime: Anything Ghost in the Shell-related, Akira, Escaflowne, Fruits Basket (more the manga than the anime but w/e)

I think people can usually tell right away who I am when I ask anonymously, I tend to ask very specific types of questions (I don't have a wide range, lol). Also, I can't guess who you are, sorry. :'D

what do you think of Charlie Kauffman's work? Any favorites from his filmography?
I think it's pretty safe to say at this point (w/out hyperbole) that Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a modern classic.
Just curious--have you liked David Thewlis in anything? Or was his failure as Lupine do solely to miscasting?
He did good voice-over work in Anomalisa. Other than that, I struggle to think of good movies he's been in.
