I'm really happy that they made his romance with Renly explicit rather than implied, but wish that they'd shown them being intimate more. There ought to be a 1:1 nudity ratio, guys! Other than that, he's a pretty decent character, but nothing to really write home about for good or ill.

Thoughts on Once Upon a TIme?
I've only seen two and a quarter episodes and seen clips/read wikis on what happens later, but I am of the strong opinion that it is A Very Bad Show. The flashbacks to Fairy Tale Land are labored, don't really provide much important new information about the characters, and look like garbage (seriously the CGI looks like it came from a PS2 game and the costumes/makeup are just...why), which is a bad side effect of the writers trying to re-create the formula they established with Lost. In fact, it'd be a much better show if they took them out and made it a mystery as to whether or not Henry (the main little kid who ropes the protagonist into the plot) was just making shit up because he's a deluded kid under a lot of emotional stress and abuse. It doesn't help that Henry is a whiny, annoying little shit played by one of the most obnoxious child actors I've ever seen, either. The other characters/actors aren't a whole lot better, either, especially the main villain. Oof. I physically cannot watch that show, it hurts my poor fairy tale-loving/good TV-loving heart real bad. ;A;

I watched most of it but got sidetracked by watching older episodes, actually. It's been long enough since I last watched it that I was like "Wait a minute, what happened, who's dead now?" for a fair portion of the episode. It was nice to see it return, though! Yay Game of Thrones.
