It may not be a significant factor in your life. Nonetheless, I am the type who enjoys helping people face fears (and make it through to the other side successfully), no matter the topic, since it can be quite rewarding/yield a great sense of accomplishment. I wish others would do the same with me.

Wish I had an answer for you. The only thing I can see is, like i said, sitting down with a female friend and tell her directly that this is your fear and that you'd like her help getting over it.

Do you like living in your country or would you like to move abroad? If abroad, then which country?

I love my country, but I wouldn't mind living abroad for the experience. I'd love to see Europe.

It's frustrating to be embarrassed that a female might hear me pee such that I use bathrooms farther away/turn on sinks/fans. I wish I had a female friend who knew about this, was ok with it, & would make me drink fluids/pee while she watched until I relax/get over my fear of peeing in front of her.

I don't think you're alone there. Lots of people do that.

Do your parents like the music you listen to?

They didn't, no. By the same token, I don't really like what MY kids listen to, although occasionally I'll hear something I like. Its generational I think.

I’m curious about something. For you as a female: 1) Which date activities would be the most fun, 2) Which would help you get to know the other/see what the other is really like, & 3) Which would get you going/put you in the mood, & why?

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
Most fun, hmmm...horseback riding, picnics, movies, hiking. Picnics/hiking would most likely help me get to know someone because they're fairly quiet and you can talk to each other. Get me in the mood? That comes way down the line after I've gotten to know someone, so at that point it could be anything.

You went quiet. Everything alright? I was curious to hear your perspectives.

Sorry...I'm not in here all the time. I get in here once in awhile lol.

As such, what “female” things/experiences/secrets can you teach me about that I may not know (or be exposed to) as a male? You won’t gross me out or offend me. Feel free to ask me questions as well.

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
Oh, boy...I may not be the right person to ask. I've never played the games that most girls do, or thought like them. My friends were all male when I was growing up, and I was awkward in the way tall girls are, so I wasn't particularly "girly". A lot of the so-called secrets are tied in with playing games or being jealous. Since I'm not that way, it's hard for me to come up with secrets. Might be better to ask me directly to explain something.

Sure, that’s understandable. We’re all individuals. Still, factors such as different genitalia, societal gender archetypes/expectations, and the taboo/stigmatized nature of certain topics contributes to the divide in our understanding of what the other gender experiences.

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
True, it does, but saying something like, "hey, I want to get a female perspective on an uncomfortable, personal topic" might cover your bases.

Understandable. I'm in my 30's and chose a professional career. I'm intelligent, creative, and have an insatiable curiosity. Beyond mere embarrassment, I'm concerned with potentially offending a female friend/ruining a friendship by asking unusual "female" questions I'm curious to know/learn about.

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
If you're close enough to that person, offending her shouldnt be an issue.

Then hypothetically, if that was the scenario, what do you think would help you feel comfortable more comfortable talking about it and trying it out? I'm not female to know what might help/work to make such a thing happen, so I'd appreciate your perspectives/ideas no matter how strange it may seem.

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
It's not something I've ever thought about, really, nor something I think is important enough to me to change my current perspective, so j can't really answer.

I know. It's sad since I'd simply need a female to just be present & watch while I go until I can get over my stage fright/fear & be able to go in front of a female friend like it's nothing. I'd be embarrassed, but so long as the friend was willing & kept up chatting, she could talk me through it.

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
Why is it so important to you to be able to use the bathroom with a member of the opposite sex?

Sounds like you have close relationships with your hubby/friends. Still, is there nothing you're curious to learn about men that you might not normally hear about? Similarly, how comfortable would you be discussing personal/private/intimate info I'd not normally know/learn about (and visa versa)?

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
I honestly don't know. I tease my husband about "men this" and "men that", but I've found that generalizing doesn't work anywhere but in theory. Doesn't keep me from doing it though lol.

What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Sheep brains. Long story; suffice it to say they were delicious, but I still wouldn't eat it again.

What would you do, if there were no more Internet in the world?

Read. Watch a movie. Spend more time with my family. Craft more. There are 8 billion things that could replace time spent on the net.

Name the ASKfm users, with whom you would want to go on a road trip for a week. Why them?

Roman Reigns, because he gets to travel all over the world. He'd know all the good spots.

Well, I don't know what embarrasses you and what doesn't. It'd still be interesting to get your personal female perspectives on topics with which I'd normally not be exposed or hear a female friend's take upon. I'd be willing to share my personal/male perspectives as well. Thoughts?

iggysmith2’s Profile PhotoIggy Smith
Hmmm, I'd have to really think about topics there. Age may play a role too...my husband and I talk about everything, and so do my close friends and I...there aren't really any taboo subjects, regardless of the gender of the discussing parties, which may be where maturity level comes into play. Not that we can't be immature, but it's not a constant.
