When David Tennant's Doctor saw Wilfred in the chamber, why did he sacrifice himself? All he had to do was go into his TARDIS, grab Captain Jack Harkness, and get THE IMMORTAL HERO JACK to step into the machine to let Wilfred out. The Doctor would still be kicking around in his form, Jack would have been a hero and Wilfred wouldn't feel responsible for killing "the greatest man [he] has ever known."

Evidently, that isn't true and frankly I wouldn't turn to Paul McCartney for wisdom. I mean if that were true, that implies that seeing how animals are prepared for sale as meat, would somehow make you not want to eat them. By that logic, there wouldn't be ANY slaughter house employees. Paul McCartney is a fucking idiot.
