I’m going to ask you a question. However, I want you to answer it for your 2,000th question.
I tell you what; if you send me a question with #2KQ in it, I will not answer that question until I've answered my 1,999th question (however if it's a question I refuse to answer, I'll let you know so you can send me a different question).
Why not high school?
I don't get the whole "Highschool" model. I went to Primary School and Secondary school then college, so I don't know how the "Highschool" model works, so I can't really answer that one.
Should teachers have social relationships with students?
Depends what level you're referring to. If you're talking college, then I personally don't see too much of an issue. If you're talking Secondary education (even the GCSE stage) then no. As for University, the students are adults and can make their own decisions.
Should students be allowed to have contact with their teachers outside school or not?
That is a very grey issue. Personally I would say having a professional and monitored network where students can contact their teachers (such as an email service that is either monitored or has to go through some kind of filtering system where inappropriate conduct would be flagged) could prove advantageous. I certainly don't think students should be able to reach a teacher via their home telephone or personal mobile/cell as I think that's just asking for trouble. Email is definitely the best way to go.
Which is better, Durham or Co. Durham?
*Sigh* idiot.
What colour are your eyes?
Denim blue.
What do you think of flames?
Dancing on the tip of a match Lighting the lantern or torch So man may see And be free From the suffocating darkness.Sitting upon a branch Burning the tree it sits on It leaps to another To join its brothers In burning the forest down. The beggar warms himself by it The dead are embraced by it; Some respect it yet Some will never learn As they watch everything burn All for the love of the flame. The flame is not innocent The flame is not guilty It simple exists; It cares not for creation It cares not for destruction Only we do.
Why be a primary school teacher? Why not high school, college, private, or university?
(Re-submitting my answer as others thing were clarified). The reason I think Primary is two fold. The first is that I know how fucking shit Secondary Education can be for a kid in terms of an experiencing. The level of bullying that goes on in Secondary school is unacceptable and I'd like to think that if kids were taught certain attitudes at Primary (by which I meant the attitude of not being a complete mini-cunt) it would increase their chances of not being a colossal prick in Secondary. Teach them more about how to treat one another, instil respect and empathy in them and hopefully they'll carry that into the next stage of their life. The second reason is that the other levels of education require me to teach a particular subject, meaning I have to go back and study a subject so that I have the ability to teach it at the necessary level and I'm not sure if that would be a better choice for me.Truth is I have little faith in myself for anything.
Win a £million question - .."I would look to enrol in university to study being a teacher (Primary school), whilst supporting my fiancée's artistic endeavours and of course during all this time, I would be heavily investing in my creative projects...".
Oooooooooooooh
What is beyond infinity?
Potential
What do you look like right now?
What do you think of headbutts?
Painful and entirely impractical.
You are well on your way to your 2,000th question. How will you celebrate it?
