Absolutely! You learn more when you play for experience. Winners tend to get a little hardheaded.

Hey Rayna! First, let me say that I love your blogs and I'm so proud of you for all of your accomplishments. So i read my goals that I wrote in 2014,most I've accomplished, but not on the level I desired. This time I want to write the specifics. What's the proper way of writing out goals? What Look lik
Aw, thanks so much for reading; I truly, truly appreciate that! Writing is definitely the first part of goal-setting, but the reading is the most important part. Write out your goals as affirmation statements starting with "I am…" and stating the goal as if you've already accomplished it. Be very specific and write out your deadline for accomplishing it and how you feel now that you've accomplished it. Include other important details like specific names or titles and pictures if possible. Then here's the tricky part- read your list of goals every morning and visualize it happening. Without re-reading and visualizing, your goals just become a task list which could be why you didn't accomplish them to the level you wanted to. I also tack on a short prayer or scripture to my list of goals/affirmations just to drive it home!
Rayna, would you mind making a top ten list of your favorite books that have helped you get started with your career/blogging?
I didn't read many blogging books, only "Blog, Inc." by Joy Deangdeelert Cho and "How to Make Money Blogging" by Bob Lotich to learn the basics about the types of blogs, hosting, etc. and a few of my favorite career/life books include "You Are A Badass" by Jen Sincero, "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg, "Steal Like an Artist" by Austin Kleon, "Mistakes I Made at Work" by Jessica Bascal, and "I Shouldn't Be Telling You This" by Kate White. My home library is very extensive so this list could go on for days, but those are a few basics!
