I really don't want to trigger you or upset you. I was not denying the existence of your gender, just questioning whether any genders are useful. You are certainly entitled to identify any way you like. As a neurotypical I probably shouldn't comment on that aspect.

You weren't the one to trigger me, don't worry ^^
Gender is a really tricky concept and I honestly doubt anyone knows 100% exactly what it is. We're all still learning new things every day as the feminist movement grows along with our knowledge. I'm glad we were able to have a civil discussion and I'm glad that you are acting respectfully - most people on this site really don't know how to remain courteous towards others (I'm definitely not an exception because I get really easily confused and angry when I don't understand something)

Why do you need a label? What is the link you are inventing between labels and suicide?

I'm saying that some people find comfort in labels while others could care less. That's fine.
I just wish that those who are content with their labels (or lack of) would just respect that some people need an identity in the form of a label in order to feel secure, safe, and content.
For some neuroatypical people questioning their gender, dysphoria can be awful. Combine that with depression or possible suicidal tendencies and it's more than a minor issue for them.
Personally, when people try to tell me my gender is nonexistent, I only get anxious. It's bearable but obviously I'd rather avoid the feeling. I feel very disrupted, upset and confused right now and it's honestly really messing with my head and I'm starting to question things all over again. My stability's been thrown off. Luckily my reaction is minor. Some people would resort to self-harm, or worse.

I'm sorry. :/ Is attractive a better term?

That works - cute & gorgeous are fine too; those are always "safe" adjectives for me. Some days I don't mind being called pretty and others it just bothers the fuck out of me but I definitely wouldn't go off on someone who meant well

I hate being called pretty/beautiful tbh.... I find those compliments too feminine for me and they make me uncomfortable but most of the time I just suck it up and thank the person

What are you social media pet peeves? Why?

Slut shamers - Worry about what you're doing with YOUR body & stop obsessing over someone else's sex life (which is probably way better than yours) :~)
Sexists in general....... do you realize what trash you are?
Those dudes who have no selfies anywhere on their page yet go around attempting to make everyone feel like shit about their appearances... r u hiding something
Celebrities who tweet really horrid things... hello, ignorant scum on a pedestal, enjoy being slammed into the ground by sjw twitter....
The "I'm not a homophobe or transphobe or racist (but everything I post proves otherwise)" people, who are also hyper-defensive
The poc/lgbtqia+ allies who speak over poc & lgbtqia+ people on every matter... namely cultural appropriation
Those people who are super book-smart with no social awareness whatsoever who feel entitled to butt their heads into matters they aren't educated enough to speak about... go write ur thesis at Starbucks while sipping some nasty, bitter, overpriced coffee like the pretentious nerd u are
Neurotypical people who complain about people venting about their mental illness.... nobody is forcing you to read that shit so just go away¿
