You know when a tree is really big and old , it not only has a wide strong stem but also its roots go really deep into the ground. You can’t just cut it, it takes time.
By time you might cut the stem but what about its roots? If you would start picking out every single of its root it might take you ages, the people we love, might not be with us, might not even be alive but you keep them somewhere in your heart sometimes unconsciously. You only know they were there all this time when you hear something or see them or when something reminds you of them and out of the blue you’re like damn nothing has changed. You never really let go, if and only if you loved.💕
