It's because social media and cancel culture weren't causing chaos.
Newgrounds was/is a great website, and it was there before YouTube, Faceboo, and Twitter.
People were having a blast playing N64, PS1, PS2, GameCube, Gameboy Advance, DS, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii with their friends, and creating happy memories. It was also the golden age of MySpace, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band.
