It’s hard as fuck to know that the only girl I’ve ever truly loved, only views me as her friend. And even tho she only sees me as a friend, The love she has for me and shows me is so pure and genuine, even if it’s not romantic. And I know she wants my friendship. She’s fought for it. Sometimes it happens that way. Some are just best off as friends rather than in a relationship. I had a friend in your position, but I just knew we were better off as friends. What he wanted, I didn't have for him.

Is it possible for an abuser to be unaware that they are abusive?
I believe this can be true in a way, but still does NOT make it RIGHT or OKAY. A man should never lay a hand on a woman, no matter what the circumstances are.
I had a guy friend come to me after his breakup. His girlfriend also came to me. They split because she finally had enough of his physical abuse.
He lived at home with his parents and I believe was getting abused at home. Even though he was already a grown adult, his parents were still very strict. I would play basketball with a bunch of my guy friends and would notice at times he would have very large bruises on his body. I asked him what happened, but he would say he doesn't know and just woke up like that. I believed it was from his dad beating his a$$. I think because he was receiving it, maybe he thought it was ok to do it. His girlfriend also put up with it for several years. I think because she allowed it, it continued and he thought that was ok.

Any suggestions how to release some stress out?
This is what I've learned from stress.. Can you do something about what's stressing you out? If you can, do it. If not, don't stress over something you can't control. Things happen in life, you just have to keep living.
