I work at a bar. The other night a customer paid their tab, gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek. My significant other was SUPER pissed. Am I at fault?
No. That's the fault of the one who did too much to you. Some folks need to stay in their place. But you also could've rejected the extra attention the person was giving you if it made you feel some type of way. But if it was just some friendly hug, and kiss. It should be fine.
