I once believed so. I was diagnosed with body dysmorphophobia, but I genuinely think I'm getting through that. I certainly don't think I'm good looking, but I don't see myself as ugly the way I once did. I would focus so much on issues linked to my body, and go over and over them and worry about my flaws so much that it affected my daily life. As my mental health has improved, I feel like so has my BDD. I still have days when I hate my body and my appearance, but I'm a lot more comfortable with myself than I was. โจ

I used to rely on taxis a lot because I have anxiety and struggle to use public transport alone. However over the last 12 months, I've been catching the bus by myself and I'm really proud of myself! It still scares me, but I'm managing a lot better these days. I mostly use taxis when I plan on having a drink, to get me home from the town centre. Other than that though, I get the bus or my boyfriend drives us.
